Hecho a Mano is back from the summer break! Of course I'll be set up alongside some of the most awesome handmade vendors in Laredo. Hope to have some new mini prints and sketchbooks made by then! Maybe even some spooky-themed stuff in preparation for Halloween time!
Soooo, very last minute but me and two other friends of mine (Flynn Craft House & the Knotty Redhead) got invited to be guest speakers for an art & craft vendors panel. It's $25 and they provide food, information about starting your mobile business, and some swag!
Sketchbomb's annual Play, toy-themed art show, is back again! I'll have another munny piece up. Sadly I won't be here since I'll be in San Antonio watching Tears for Fears live! But don't let that deter you. There are so many awesome pieces done by local Laredo artists and there will also be free screenprinted shirts provided by AR Graphics! Family-friendly so there's no excuse that you need to find a sitter. ;)
Catching me vending along with a whole bunch of other local Laredo vendors! <3
Hecho a Mano will be having a mini-market at the Belles of Chaos first Roller Derby Mashup here in Laredo! I'll be set up with my stuff so if you're already coming to see the match, come check us out. :)
Guess what Austin! I'll be back sooner than later. Really excited to announce that I got accepted into CraftHER Market in April! Hope you see y'all there. :)

Really excited to be part of this year's PrintExpo on February 11th! I'll be sharing a table with my good friend Erika Buentello from Flynn Craft House. There will be 30+ artists selling their prints, doing live demos, and did I mention large block prints being run over by a steamroller? It's going to be lots of fun so bring your friends and family. Don't know what printmaking is? Come on out anyways to see what we're all about! If you have any trouble finding the place, contact me through email or message me through instagram!
I won't be in Austin yet for this event but if you want to see my latest print in person before they get shipped out to the other printmakers who participated in this print trade, here's your chance! One of them will also be for sale to help support PrintAustin. Definitely check it out and all the awesome PrintAustin events. All printmaking shows and workshops throughout January and February! For more info. and the list of events, visit their website: www.PrintAustin.org

Hey y'all! If you missed out on our Small Business Saturday event, you're just in luck! Our next event will be a two-day holiday bazaar at Gallery201! Lots of local vendors and handmade goods to shop from. It's never too early to buy your christmas gifts and give the gift of fantastic original art! Free Swag Bags for the first 25 customers who purchase $25 or more, and a free gift wrap for anyone who purchases $30 or more! We have Letters to Santa Make-n-Take table for the kiddos, and complementary hot coffee for all!
We'll still be having our in-person deals:
- $5 off Tank Tops
- 50% Large Screen Prints
- $2 #NoDAPL Pins (all proceeds from these will be donated to Standing Rock)
Gallery 201 is located right next to Bethany House. We'll have our Hecho a Mano banner displayed outside but if you get lost, the gallery is one block east of the Center for the Arts and located in the middle of the block! Since it is a historical building, they're not allowed to put up a permanent sign so it's kind of a hole in the wall. Still can't find it? Message me over social media or email me at moonhowlerpress(at)gmail(.)com and I'll help you out!
Come join us on Saturday for Small Business Saturday! There will be 15 different handmade vendors, free coffee snacks & refreshments, Santa letter writing station for kids, free swag bags for the first 25 customers who spend $25 with any vendor, and free gift wrapping for anyone who spends $50 with any of our vendors.
This will be the second time I'll be doing Portico in Laredo. Last year was pretty fun seeing the cool VW car show and seeing local group preform. A few of us vendors will be set up with our wares so swing by, say hi, and check out all the cool cars downtown.
Swing by the Laredo Public Library to catch a bunch of authors, writers, illustrators, and performances by local and regional groups. The library was kind enough to even invite local handmade vendors and artists to participate in the festivities! I'll be setup alongside my artist friends so come see what we got to offer. Family friendly and lots of cool stuff for kids to do!
I'll be introducing a new set up at this Hecho! Come check out the MoonhowlerPress canopy 'cause I'll be pulling out my bigger prints! Free swagbags for the first 25 customers who spend $5 or more at any of the Hecho a Mano vendors. Family friendly, pet friendly so come on down!
I'll be having 3 pieces in this show! I won't be able to make it to the show but there's a lot of great art work and I encourage y'all to go check it out. (I was able to swing by the gallery before show time and it looked great!)
Val, the owner of Caffe Dolce, invited me and another artist to put together a Halloween art show. I'll be displaying my mini Universal Monster prints along with a bunch other of local artists of all ages. BYOB for 21+ so bring your own Boos and Booze! Family friendly and there's even a costume contest. Most of the artwork is for sale and there's an open kitchen so bring some extra cash to help support local!
"In honor of All Hallows Eve, the Laredo Center for the Arts is partnering up with Sketch Bomb Laredo and the Laredo Paranormal Research Society to bring you "Phantasmagoria: Paranormal Exhibit." Opening Reception will take place on Thursday, Oct 13, 2016 from 6-8 pm.
Phantasmagoria will feature all that goes bump in the night such as ghosts and ghouls and other stranger things such as sci-fi extraterrestrial life forms and aliens. The exhibit brings to life the myths, legends, folklore and superstitions that we are all familiar with such as El Cucuy and La Llorona.
The Laredo Paranormal Research Society will be presenting some of the findings from local investigations they have conducted.
This event is free to the public. Light refreshments will be provided."

Beet. will be having their first open house for their shop! They've invited me and a few other local artists to sell our work there. The shop is absolutely adorable and has stuff that ranges from home decor to clothing to original artwork. There will be music by DJ Street Samurai plus a few complimentary snacks and refreshments!
Since they are starting up, they are a CASH ONLY establishment at the moment so don't forget to take some money and support local.
